Info Dump Tag

I was tagged by my lovely friend Faye (YouTube, Twitter, Instagram.) to do her original tag - The Info Dump Tag!

I’m going to jump straight in and answer the questions.

Q1. How many books on average do you read per month?
It all depends on how much of a reading mood I am in at the beginning of the month. For example in March I read a ton of books and comics but the past few months it has averaged on about 0-2 books since Animal Crossing: New Horizons was released.

Q2. How many books are on your TBR?
Since I haven’t got all my books with me where I am living currently I can’t count all my books. However in total I have over 250 books and I haven’t read all of those.

Q3. How are your books organised on your shelves?
Normally my books are organised by authors books together no matter the height or letter, but where I am staying my books aren’t really organised in any particular way due to not having a lot of shelf space.

Q4. Which genres do you read the most from?
Most of the time I tend to read whatever I feel like I want to read. I tend to read a lot of YA and within that main category I read: Mystery, Thriller, Contemporary and Sci-fi. I don’t really have a main favourite.

Q5. Which genres do you own the most of?
With this question I can’t really answer it as I haven’t got all my books with me but a rough guess I would say contemporary maybe.

Q6. Which is your preferred form of reading? (Physical, Audio or Ebook)
I definitely prefer reading physical books but I love listening to Audiobooks. I have recently found a liking for Ebooks also.

Q7. Who is your most owned author?
Either Rachel Caine or Rachel Mead. However that’s just off the top of my head from memory so I could be wrong!

Q8. Describe your favourite writing style
I don’t actually have a favourite but I enjoy Descriptive and Narrative.

Q9. Which literary devices do you like/dislike?
I really enjoy flashbacks. I don’t actually know what I dislike.

Q10. Which character archetypes do you enjoy?
I have a few I enjoy. I really like, Star-crossed lovers, survivor, wizard and the evil genius. Some archetypes I find to be too frequently used like the hero.. I want to read a book where the ‘Hero’ is actually the ‘Villain’ but the story doesn’t specify that until the end.

Q11. Which are your favourite book settings?
I really enjoy books set in different worlds but still have a similarity to the real world, I love books that are also straight up set in the real world and I love a good book that is set in forest settings.

Q12. Which are your favourite romantic and plot tropes?
I find the ‘Fake relationships’ really interesting because I like to see how the characters relationship progresses towards a full blown relationship for example: To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han.

That’s all the questions for this tag. Thank you Faye for tagging me in your original tag!
I am going to tag a few people via twitter but if you see this and want to answer the questions feel free just link back to Faye’s Original video!
