March Reading Wrap Up - 2020

In March I got a lot more reading done than I thought I would have. I am pleasantly surprised that I read 30 books in March alone. Admittedly 17 of those were comics that I read via the Kindle app for my iPad but they still count on Goodreads.

When rating the comic series' in this blog I will put the collective rating for it so I am not writing up individual ratings as I rated the series the same throughout.

To start things off, I finished reading two books I had on my currently reading for many months. It wasn't due to disliking them but I got into a bunch of reading slumps and when coming out of those slumps I picked up other books and just kind of set aside these two for reasons unknown to me.

- The Mermaid by Christina Henry ⋆⋆⋆⋆
- Wintersong by S. Jae-Jones ⋆⋆⋆⋆

Next I did a buddy read with my lovely friend Jemma. This was a lot of fun and we also buddy read two more books in March which I will mention here too so this post is a little more organised.

- The Princess Bride by William Goldman ⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆
- Goodnight, Mr. Tom by Michelle Magorian ⋆⋆⋆⋆
- Carrie by Stephen King ⋆⋆⋆

Moving on I am going to list the rest of the physical books I read during March. I didn't read as many more as I had hoped but most of these weren't even on my TBR for the month so I am still impressed at myself for reading so many.

- We Were Liars by E. Lockhart ⋆⋆⋆⋆
- To All The Boys I've Loved Before by Jenny Han ⋆⋆⋆⋆
- Heartstopper Volumes 1-3 by Alice Oseman ⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆
- Girls in Love by Jacqueline Wilson ⋆⋆⋆

I listened to two Audiobooks in March. Both I enjoyed a lot. One was a sequel and one was a novella. I listened to one via Audible and the other via Scribd. Scribd isn't my favourite audiobook service but the trial I used was free so I used it.

- Hunting Prince Dracula by Kerri Maniscalo ⋆⋆⋆⋆
- Gentleman's Guide to Getting Lucky by Mackenzi Lee ⋆⋆⋆

Finally I am going to list the Comics I read. I found all of these really interesting to read especially on the Kindle app because it had an option to go 'Photo by photo' if you double tapped one of them and then to continue reading swipe like normal.

- The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina 1-8 ⋆⋆⋆
- Afterlife with Archie 1-5 ⋆⋆⋆
- Jughead: The Hunger #1 ⋆⋆⋆
- Riverdale: One-shot ⋆⋆⋆
- Riverdale 1-2 ⋆⋆⋆

I greatly enjoyed reading every single one of the books I read in March. I can only hope to read this many in April and the coming months.
