About Me

Hi, My name is Milly. I am 23 and from the UK.
I've started this blog because I love writing reviews for books I have read but before I share any reviews I wanted to make a post that lets you the reader about me; the person behind the blog.
I find it quite difficult to write about myself so I am going to take a couple questions from a 'Get to know me' tag and also a book related tag.

My Hobbies?

I love reading which is obviously a given with the fact I have started a blog for posting books reviews. I have a fascination with photography, I grew up watching my granddad do photography and art related things and I found it really enjoyable myself. I also love to scrapbook and may occasionally post updates about pages I have completed here and there maybe monthly or every couple months instead.

Do you have any children?
Yes. I recently had a baby in January. I didn't have the best time whilst in the hospital, I went in to have an induction but ended up having to have a C-Section 5 days later.

Do you read a lot of books at once or only one at a time?

I tend to read many books at once but occasionally whilst having many going at a time I will focus on one book if I am really into it at the time.

Currently Reading?
I am currently reading; One of us is Lying by Karen M. McManus, Wintersong by S. Jae Jones, Mermaid by Christina Henry.

Goodreads Goal 2020?
My Goodreads Goal for 2020 is 25 books. I do want to try and re-read a couple books this year which include; The Hunger Games book one, Twilight book one and the Divergent series. So my ideal goal is to read 20 books I have never read and allow 5 books for me to re-read. Last year my goal was 50 and I only read 14, so whenever I don't reach a goal the next year I will lower my goal so I don't feel overwhelmed.

Pets?
I have two cats. Their names are Luna & Sulo.

Favourite Books?
I have a few favourite books, they include; The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald, The Divergent Trilogy by Veronica Roth, Alice & Red Queen by Christina Henry, The Amatuers Series & The Perfectionist Series by Sara Shepard and I have recently added another book to this list of favourites and that is The Good Girl's Guide to Murder by Holly Jackson.

I might to a couple tags in the future to answer some more questions but for now I am going to leave this post here until next time. Thank you for reading, if there is anything you'd like to know feel free to leave a comment!
